Can't agree with you there really.You were suggesting that Linux and OS alternatives don't sell because they somehow are not "sexy" or familiar enough. I am saying, if MS enters a level playing field and opens up its SW through standards and interfaces instead of relying on lock-in and code obfuscation, it won't be so successful, familiar or easy.
