blogs.zdnet.com — With the launch of SP1 Microsoft promised to put an end to two popular hacks used by pirates to allow a non-genuine install of Windows Vista to function in the same way as a genuine install. Testing that I?ve carried out in the lab today suggests that Microsoft has been true to its word.

Shouldn't Microsoft be actively encouraging people to Pirate Vista? Isn't that the only way people are going to want to get it?

Good, you don't need this slow sluggish thing anyway. Nows the perfect time to switch to a fast and lovely Mac.

Very good. I think that people should pay for Windows. So I think that Microsoft should put even more effort in stopping the pirates.I recently upgraded my computer, well, it's more like a new computer now. With the parts I quired Windows Vista. I bought the OEM-version which is really cheap and I'm very pleased. There have been some problems with Nvidia drivers but except from that, Vista is the best Windows ever. It's very nice and I really recommend it. And when you can get the OEM-version so cheap I don't know why you would not get the legal version. We can also thank all the Windows pirates for all the spam and botnets we have. Since they can't get updates, in most cases, they always get infected with worms and Trojans sending out spam. This is a GIGANTIC problem. And all because people are too cheap to pay for Windows. The OEM-version is so cheap so people should really pay for it. Again, Vista is well worth it.
