Only to support websites created in FrontPage. I doubt that FrontPage will be updated to handle the new format. Instead it will be supported in the Microsoft Expression suite so in that case you will need to ensure you have Expression Extensions installed. :o)
Hmmm... I had a poll, and my Linux, Solaris, Irix, HPUX, and FreeBSD machines all say no to this. I'm pretty sure the OSX machine is against it as well.
"What about sound formats? AAC, MP3, AACplus, FLAC, OGG, WAV, MPC. Was that reinventing the MP3 wheel too?"Errm, pretty sure WAV was around before MP3.
It wouldn't make sense if they didn't license it for Firefox and other browsers because if they did that, no (sane) web designer would adopt the format.

Am I the only one who doesn't care at all what format a file is? As long as my browser supports it and I can convert it, I dont care.
