msn.com — While using IE for Mac (and fighting my gag reflex at the same time), I saw a message from Microsoft (MSN.com, actually) encouraging users to user a different browser. "...If you are using Internet Explorer for Mac, we recommend that you use another browser to have an optimal experience on MSN."

I've never seen that before, nice one. +Digg. Even more reason to use Safari

Ugh, neoporcupine...why do you perpetuate such ignorance?1) MS didn't "give" Apple $150 million; they bought stock. The two are not the same thing.2) Apple didn't survive because of Microsoft; they survived despite Microsoft. You sould like you're crediting the success of the original iMac and the iPod to Microsoft when they had absolutely nothing to do with either.3) Ditto iTunes and the Music Store. It's true that Microsoft is an important partner for Apple, but you seem to believe Apple could not survive without Microsoft, when nothing is farther from the truth. Apple is where they are at today because they continue to innovate, something Microsoft seems to have forgotten how to do.
