Labeling works just fine on android. Maybe you're doing it wrong.

You sound pretty confident that Google has done the same thing. Would you care to name your sources?Either way - just because the big businesses do it doesn't mean it's OK to do. Big businesses piss on their employees and screw over local businesses - are you happy about that too?

9) Kill of every little hacker, because their OS is severely flawed

Figures.... Microsoft can't build better products, so they try to make other companies look as bad at them.

Microsoft caught red handed again? Well I'm not holding my breath for the US government or Department for Justice or whoever to make them play nice. The simple fact is Microsoft are too big to be controlled by any conventional means. What we need is a company like Google to start taking desktop OS market share from Microsoft.Even if Google becomes the next Microsoft it will be much easier to unseat Google. Chrome OS is Linux based. It's a foot in the door for the Linux kernel on the desktop. When people start shifting to Chrome OS, other people will start checking out other alternatives. Chrome OS is the stimulus people need to start thinking again about what operating system their PCs are using. Most people today don't do that. They just swallow the tripe from the retailers and hand over their cash.Businesses will not be using Chrome OS. If they go Linux on the desktop, and they will, It'll be something like Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SLED or even Ubuntu. Some of the worlds major stock exchanges have already made the shift to Linux both on their back room servers and on their desktops on the trading floor.

Aight, so I was wrong about AAC. What about QuickTime then?My point was simply that Apple a more similiar to Microsoft than to Google or the Linux community. And my point still stands.

Quicktime? Yes, what about Quicktime? Plays dozens of different audio and video formats. When you say your "point still stands," how can this be, when you've not actually made any points?I'm presuming you're one of the many Apple-haters who've never actually tried modern Macs. I hope that you one day you take the time to give it a try. Then you'll understand what you've been missing.

QuickTime plays tonnes of non-proprietary formats yes, but I was referring to their own format, .mov (which is very widespread on the net). In any case, this doesn't matter either. Their policies on the iPhone and iPods are enough.About me being unaware of the quality of Apple products - I recently bought an iPod because there is no equivelant alternative in my country (IE., it is the best there is). Also, I'm currently taking a media-oriented education with a lot of people around me using Macs. I don't doubt, and never did doubt, that Macs are of a very high quality. My quarrel with Apple is not about the quality of their products, but about their policies regarding proprietary software and control. In my first post I said that Apple is Microsoft-junior. In my second post I said that Apple is more like Microsoft than Google. If you still can't grasp my point in relation to your first post then you're out of reach.
