pvrwire.com — Microsoft is linking up with video search engine Blinkx in an attempt to SQUASH THE GOOGLE-YOUTUBE THREAT. As a video search engine Microsoft won't host videos so can't get sued... unlike YouTube. Microsoft can provide access to more video than Google & YouTube & can sit back and watch them get sued to oblivion. Who will WIN? Microsoft or Google??

Hey little boy...there is a website where little kiddies use silly acronyms like FTW and M$ well after anyone else finds them humorous. It is called MySpace. Maybe you should go there. It is more your maturity level. LOL :P! ROTFL(How sad for you that you actually used both!)

lets see, first there was iflim.com, then youtube.com, then googlevideo, and then soapbox... hopefully soapbox will lack the stupid kid getting kicked in the nuts by other stupid kid video that I've seen on youtube so many times

blinkx is currently for official media orgs. very bloaty and slow-loading, and often not very good at search.

"Google has no ability to do voice recognition or visual recognition like Blinkx"Care to expand on what is preventing Google from doing exactly that, or is this comment pure hyperbole?

What this deal really is: Blinkx replacing Truveo as Microsoft's video search service.

If microsoft could be first to market with a good idea once in a while, they wouldn't have these problems...
