Haven't tried this latest version but i tried RC2, i think. I found that IE7 was indeed a massive improvement over IE6 and was certainly close to tempting me away from FF. However, a couple of things bugged me enough to prevent that, they were:1. The installation bugged me about rebooting. How f**king dare you, you cheeky little f**kers. I said no, I've got other stuff i want to finish before i reboot thank you very much!2. It may have been an RC2 bug but i found i couldn't access my hotmail through outlook with IE7 installed. There may have been a way to fix it but, heck, why should i have to change something to do exactly what I was doing before. Uninstalling fixed this.3. The cleartype font is horrible. Yeah i know you can change it but, meh.4. It's IE and it's been too long coming. Without a seriously good reason to switch, why should I? That all said, there are a few problems with FF as well:1. Why oh why don't you just tack on coloured scrollbar support? Who cares if it's none standards compliant, they really finish a website design off and i know it's something the general public notice.2. FF 2.0 needs sessions support. You can't encorporate most of the functionality of tabmix but cut out one of the most useful aspects. 3. There's just not quite enough about 2.0 that makes it obviously better than IE7, which ultimately is the only way you're going to tempt more people away. Just some of my thoughts.

update.exe says "Release Candidate 1" I downloaded it from a few sources. They all say RC1. Did MS forgot to update update.exe to FINAL?

I hate custom scroll bars. They are usually ugly. Let the OS handle scrollbars, please.

I love Opera. I kind of want to try IE-7 just because but I am a pirate in microsofts eyes so I will stick with Opera.

System32 folder opens on boot now that I installed IE7. System restore fixed it though. Gonna try it again and see what happens. Yes I do use firefox but sometimes s**t just needs to be opened with IE.

Im not a big fan of the interface right now. Even though I did the registry edit to put the menu above the address bar, the layout just seems weird. The "New Tab" button next to tabs looks odd and it makes the whole tab section look clunky. And I changed the search bar to Google, but whenever I restart IE it changes back to Live. Not cool.
