I instinctively wanted to grab those poor sweet neglected iPods into my arms and give them a proper home. Someone ought to notify the association for the prevention of iPod cruelty.

Haha, someone threw an iPod case in there. They probably didn't want to let go of their iPod for a Zune, and just threw the case in to satisfy Ballmer.

Until I could be bothered to customise something like foobar to suit my taste, I'm sticking to Winamp (and similar *nix players when applicable).(Oh, an my negative opinion of iTunes is reinforced since I work for an IT helpdesk that has to deal with "less computer literate" people calling all the time to say that iTunes has lost their music or similar. With iTunes most users don't actually realise that the MP3 (or similar) files exist outside of iTunes, and if the iTunes library dissapears they have no idea how to find their music, and most will either cry, or download the music again, leaving them with TWO copies of every song (and if they download them legally, it can get costly.))
