@makingtheswitchI've only read the bottom few posts, but from what I've seen your blog appears sincere, well researched, objective and interesting. It's great to see a personal blog that seems to be out for anything more than a quick bit of adsense money. Hope you keep it up, and congrats on a job well done so far.

Oooh. I bet Microsoft will be pretty upset about this! That's every company's 2nd worst dream - disgruntled employees.... (1st worst dream is naturally financial loss :P )Anyway, I hope he does make good progress... I've been looking to make the switch from Windows to Ubuntu myself.... But never was so certain that I wouldnt miss all those good cracked software :)

Probably no-one helped because1) you didn't ask a question,2) there are places more appropriate for these issues, and3) You didn't provide enough specifics. Think of a url providing a kernel dump, config files, version numbers, svn checkout timestamps, and your hardware lay-out.
