I had to download IE for Mac a few days ago (as, bizarrely, an iPod store (ipodworld.co.uk) site wouldn't work properly with ANY other browser on the Mac!). It really is a creaky piece of crap now, isn't it?I'm sticking with Camino and Safari (I don't much use Firefox as I still find Safari to be faster and Firefox still makes a hash of rendering those buttons on the Google homepage - ugly :) )When Camino does RSS, it'll be the ultimate Mac browser.

I have to occasionally use IE on my Mac for certain website that still don't recognize Safari (or Firefox for that matter). In addition to those sites my corporate email is not accessible with anything other than and IE browser. I am sure that it would work if they would let it. In not for this it would not even be on my machine.

"This is the strongest argument to dump OS9...Apple should have a campaign to help support the conversion over the abandoned OS9 user base to OSX."You mean like the fact new machines don't run OS 9?Or that there's no active development on OS 9?Or that Steve announced at a keynote in 2002 that OS 9 is dead?

Alex has a mini rant in the podcast about Safari being so slow... Maybe it was the beer talking 'cause I've never seen Firefox launch faster than Safari on any mac. Either that or Alex has a problem with his Safari install?

I have to say, I'm very happy that IE is leaving. I've been using safari and firefox, they both load my webpages and gets me there fast a quick. I love it. But there are some bumps i face when i try to go to some webpages. I went to a website and it says i don't have the proper cookies; and thats for both of the programs. I have my cookies enabled. Can anyone help me out there. And, is there also a way to get live streaming audio of the internet? I tryed to get it but i didn't have the right plug-in for my MIME type= If someone can get back to me on that that would be great. Thanks- Johnps: Great website!
