uneasysilence.com — "No, this isn’t some marketing goof up, where Windows is superimposed over a pice of Apple hardware with te logo removed. Microsoft actully loaded Windows Vista on a piece of Mac hardware and presented with it."

Kinda ironic but also poetic since Vista will be copying whatever eyecandy and new features OS X had for the last few years.

There likely is a very good reason for using a Mac. Remember that Microsoft makes software for the Macintosh as well--by carrying a Mac it is possible to demonstrate both Mac and Windows software without having to carry more than one laptop.

Not only is Apple hardware becoming more popular, but the media is picking up on it more and more. The MBP defects, while are bad, are not anywhere near as prevalent as the media is purporting them to be. I know one person online, Daniel Jalkut, who has had the worst experience with his MBP of anybody I've heard of (multiple trips to the Apple store, still has multiple defects), and yet he's still sticking on because, aside from the defects, he loves the powerful little computer. And everybody else I know with an MBP, including my roommate, doesn't have a single problem with it.

At the time Microsoft invested $150 million in non-voting Apple stock, Apple had several *billion* dollars in cash on hand.

Woah, how come nobody wigged out because he typed "MAC" instead of "Mac"? Isn't some uber-attitude apple geek going to explain to him what a MAC address is?
