How can joost be killed yet? I have it on my computer right now and it is barely alive... I doesn't have any good channels and the ones they do have are quite low quality.
No, they never announced the Zune as being an 'iPod killer' and in fact, they said the opposite just morons like you made up things in your silly minds. They said they knew the Zune 'battle' was going to be a LONG and HARD one and they didn't expect amazing sales at all because like with the Xbox they know they're entering a dense market with clear market leaders. Now look at the Xbox, it did quite well and the 360 is also doing pretty darn well and guess what, A LOT OF PEOPLE LIKE IT.
This is inaccurate. This is neither a Microsoft announcement, nor a Joost killer. It's not even being developed by Microsoft. You should have at least taken the time to read the article. Burried.
You may be surprised, but some companies actually call their products "x killer" since the planning phase, there are certain products that are meant not to compete but to destroy the opposite competition. The original internet explorer (free release) was made to destroy Netscape, Wow turned out to be an everquest killer per example, (although it was supossedly unintentional), Guitar hero destroyed Guitar freaks. etc. etc.Certain products do KILL other products. And since Joost has such a small userbase (and so little and poor programming specially outside the US) I have no doubt MS can and most probably will Kill it.
