Chances are we'll get a new HDD this holiday season to match the PS3'sDon't XBLA games have to fit on the memory stick by default? So chances are games will be less than 50megs, that's 260 games, plus if you buy a game, isn't it bound to your account - you can delete it and re-download it again.

So you're saying the 360 *PLUS A DEV KIT* costs the same as a PS3 *WITHOUT A DEV KIT*Yeah - Sony FTW LOL!

"So, basically, I've been proven right about game development on the PS2 linux kit?"No, you weren't. As I said, in the announcement for Game Yaroze for PS3, they listed some games that were published with the PS2 linux kit.And the published PS1 net yaroze games are not irrelevent, they too prove you wrong

No no no. That's not what I'm talking about. Sony is pretty much saying, "Here you go, there are the tools. That's all we're giving you." It's equivalent to a carpenter giving his apprentice a hammer, some nails, and wood, and saying, "There's all you need to build a rocking chair. Get to it," and then abandoning the kid.By all accounts thus far, Microsoft is OFFERING a community environment from which to learn and share with other developers and from Microsoft's own experience. Say what you will about Windows, it takes some programming knowledge to get a piece of software that massive to work even to the smallest degree.
