kotaku.com — Microsoft may feign disinterest in the women, kiddos and seniors who've caught the Wii-waggle bug, Rare may be sick of Conker and prefer not to be a "casual developer," and Gyration swears it's not involved. But Darwin developer Motus is keeping the truth close to its chest, so it's unlikely the rumors about the "Newton" will die down anytime soon.

Seems Sony is working on their own 'Waggle' also: <a class="user" href="http://digg.com/playstation/Sony_s_Wiimote_GameInformer_says_code_name_Waggle_is_real">http://digg.com/playstation/Sony_s_Wiimote_GameInf ...</a>

J Allard is working with the Zune since more than a year ago. Please check your facts before trolling.

If it were, would it be a "game mechanic never seen in any game before"? No.

I really am starting to think that Nintendo was simply trying to make a statement when they made the Wii, more than they cared about their gamers. I think they were trying to show the public it wasn't about graphics and processing power, it was about usability and creating an original game experience for the casual gamer. I think this was probably an idea that sounded a lot better on paper than it did in physical product. I mean, sure it's great that they can compete with other game systems without stellar online gaming, High definition graphics (480p barely counts as high def.) or a hulking list of popular titles, but at the same time, I think for myself, the nostalgia wore off very quickly because I keep my gaming life and party life separate and because anyone who knows about college and young adult parties knows it's best to have them at other people's houses than host them yourself. Also, I really don't believe the Wii was targeted at me, the 20 something gamer who loves first person shooters, Quintin Tarentino and Led Zeppelin and has been gaming since Mario was 8-bit. Thank god for my 360, without that, I would think I was starting to get too old to game.

Nice cherry picking. Either stick to the numbers or your opinions.

my opinion is, that Nintendo better hope that x-box doesn't create a motion sensing device better.<a class="user" href="http://wmpowered.com/default,date,2005-01-10.aspx">http://wmpowered.com/default,date,2005-01-10.aspx</a><a class="user" href="http://www.robobusiness2006.com">http://www.robobusiness2006.com</a><a class="user" href="http://search.ashtech.info/Microsoft">http://search.ashtech.info/Microsoft</a>
