kevintwodotoh.com— Somebody from a digital marketing firm leaked their promotional Microsoft Origami video... So Kevin took a few screen shots for us! It looks like a mini tablet PC - nothing more, nothing less.

interesting. looks like MS's attempt to compete with the sony psp, the iPod, tablet PCs, and GPS all with one device. pretty cool idea, especially if they get the gaming part right.
f**k this. There's no way this could become the lifestyle product they try to portray- for one, it's too big. Second, battery life.It would be great as a mini-laptop, but they're not going after that crowd, they're going after the ipod/psp/ds crowd. About how long did we see the operating system itself being shown? Exactly.Atleast this throws in competition.Think about how Sony/Nintendo/Apple will implement this technology a generation or two from now?Think about how cellphone creators will implement this?In 3-5 years, we'll see true convergence with all of this current portable crap, and get next-gen goodness in return. Remember who said it first.
HEY , IT LOOKED FROM THE PHOTO ( http://www.longhornblogs.com/robert/archive/2006/02/24/15899.aspx )THAT IT ALSO HAS A CAMERA, AND THE SIZE HAS BEEN REDUCED. ANYBODY HAS ANY IDEA AS TO WHATS THE HARD DRIVE AND RAM IS OF THIS THING. ALSO WHICH VIDEO CARD DOES IT USE. WHEN IS IT GOING TO BE RELEASED??? I HOPE I'LL BE ALIVE THEN. THE LENGHT IS OKAY BUT THEY SHOULD REDUCE THE WIDTH!!!! AND I SEARCHED FOR THIS ORIGAMI ON THE NET AND I SAW ATLEAST 15 DIFFERENT TYPES OF ORIGAMI'S CLAIMING 5O BE ORIGAMI, WHICH IS ORIGINAL. HOPEFULLY NOT THE ONE IN THE VIDEO!!!! WHATS THE BLOODY PRICE???

The guy at "Terminal A" was playing Halo on it. It could be the Xbox portable, or it could be you can install the PC version on it.

So far I am really stoked on the whole project. Even though tablet pc's aren't in anyway a new thing, its good to see some diversity in the market.
