Hi, I'm Microsoft, I've invented an Ergonomic Keyboard. Here are the rules for an ergonomic keyboard 1) Split Keys 2) Reverse Slope (front to back) 3) Proper Key Weights 4) Arrow keys & insert & delete where you expect them to be.Hi, I'm Microsoft, again, but a year later. The "Proper" ergonomic keyboard is too wide, so we are going to shrink it, and take the "Proper" keyboard off the market. Its called the "Elite" and its smaller. Sadly, it breaks ergonomic rules 2 through 4.Hi, Microsoft again, I screwed up... Its been a decade, but here is a proper ergonomic keyboard again. Thanks, Microsoft.
These kind of keyboards just never seemed to take off. It seems like a great idea, and when the first one came out 10 years ago I bought it. But really it seems like no one cares.
Another use for the insert key - Shift-Insert pastes from the clipboard. Very useful when you Shift-Up to select a line, Shift-Delete to cut, and Shift-Insert to paste it somewhere else. I end up using this shortcut combo about 60-70% of the time... when I Ctrl-C,V,X I tend to twist around my left hand and take my eyes off the screen.

They should make the MS Natural Elite in black. Who really uses multimedia keys and zoom bars and blahblahblah?

Another Salvador Dali keyboard. I never could stand those things. Where are all the good standard keyboards?

I hope they finally fixed that idiotic "F-keys disabled on bootup" thing from their previous keyboards. You had to press a button to make F keys behave normally. Nothing against ergo kb's, but I won't get this. I'm getting the new Logitech G15 in October.http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=2166,CONTENTID=10717

I personally don't like those kind of keyboards, they're messed up
