Why bother to compete, innovate, and make new and fresh products when you can just buy someone else?Now, granted, Yahoo isn't exactly an innovator these days either... they're almost just as bad. I can only see epic failure in both companies' future.

Yeah but the thing is that when MS failed to gain approval, they start playing dirty and coercing people. Browser integration, DRM, propriety standardization, buying intellectual property.....Plan A - Offer something, be nice about it Plan B - twist their arm and tell them to smileI don't want to deal with that.
