oh i have a better one... why dont we all just switch to windows starter edition? lol it never worked and it will never work. they should realize this. its just brings them bad look as a company. oh look our new protection... oh no - shooot its been hacked twice. lol
i am using windows xp x64 edition as i post this. i have an action pack subscription (thanks 2 my dads office) and i HATE the activation... all it did was make it harder for PAYING CUSTOMERS to install microsoft. it probably left a bad experience with them (the customer) as well. and if you were a pirate then all you needed to do was look for a crack or if you cant googel for that you just call up the service rep and say that you just reinstalled the os after upgrading your [insert computer hardware here , a good example is HD, CPU, mobo] and they give you the key you need. that easy. and that's if you had the CD... most download able versions have a crack or a key gen bundled with them. its easy to get those as well just do a search on your favorite bit-torrent site.
oHgr! lmao! i think he's coming for me too. The fact that xp pro CORPORATE edition is being used by a 17 year old running it in his home should be enough, they shouldn't need to implement some fancy WGA program to figure 'it' out (i'm not saying i pirate whatsoever, and do not want anyone else to pirate). Can anyone help me? I think I saw SIX (!!!) ways to get around WGA. There may/probably are more.1. edit some setting using notepad (can't remember where I say that)2. something with disabling a dll.3. something with an exe that generates keys to trick WGA.4. simply disabling WGA in internet exploder.5. pasting javascript in IE.6. grease monkey and trixie (great because it works on IE, FF and Opera!)7. ????
