zeropaid.com — Vista makes you register, and if you don't do it within the timeframe given (30 days) you get the boot. Yes, out of your own system, in some cases. Locked out with only an hour available at a time to get back in and try to register the program.

How are you going to reregister in only an hour? The last time I did that it took almost three hours on the phone. That was after our ~400 systems all lost their activation a few months ago. That cost over $24k in direct labor to fix. There's no telling how much we lost in production and lost customers due to Microsoft's disabling of our computers.

This will not be a good thing for businesses...forget personal computers, but imagine what zoom1928 said and it happen at a large corporation.Talk about isolating your OS.
