You sure you didn't mean to say "It was that way back in 2002."? The HTC phones with WinMO I have owned over the past few years have been nothing but rock solid.

The new Microsoft Office XML format is just the proprietary MS Office binary OLE formats converted into XML. It is not non-MS application friendly.
