blogs.mercurynews.com — Bill Gates and Robbie Bach are expected to announce at the Consumer Electronics Show that Microsoft has sold more than 10.4 million Xbox 360s since the launch in November, 2005. That means Microsoft has also hit its targets for sales of consoles during the holidays.

When will the PS3 be released?I can buy a PS3 game, controller, cables, and books. Just can't find the console. If sony was a woman, I'd bitch slap it.

Good for Microsoft. Not that I'm a big fan of huge corporations, but they've made one hell of a great console (the 360) and they deserve their success.

What kind of number is 10,00,000??????? Aside from your funny mistake, you're also an idiot.......All 360's sold are STILL JUST FINE with version 2 coming out. I don't care about or need HDMI (and I'm sure MANY other people feel just like me), and my surround sound rocks so loud that I could give a f**k about the slightly louder DVD drive. Which by the way, is the sound of your 360 loading 3 times faster than Sony's blu-ray drive. It has nothing to do with fans, this, that, or the other....It's because we have a goddamn 12X DVD drive. And I have no f**king problem with that.

Yet the reiteration of what sold means came recently where as Moore's statements came in 2005.http://www.cnet.com.au/games/xbox360/0,239035744,240055502,00.htmSo has he always meant "shipped" or did he mean sold? I bet you if they knew they were on track of having 10 million 360's sold, there would have been no clarification of what they meant by sold.
