Now where would I find my source of frustration?

10 years! and EVERYONE on the planet at that time thought it was RETARDED except windows and end users.seriously...clippy was the number one reason i switched from interest in windows based networks and moved to unix servers and linux. Well besides the fact that win98 was a pos and i wanted nothing to do with desktop windows environments. nt2000 was acceptable as small office server but a real dog on even the fastest hardware at the time. But seriously they were always close to a decade behind in innovation & performance on real stuff (directory services for example) however they HAD clippy! and the search dog! WHOO HOOO !

I used to make custom Microsoft Agents. The technology was interesting, but the implementation in office was too limited. Fullblown Microsoft Agents support both speech synthesis and speech recognition. The Microsoft Office assistants don't use these features.
