It does make sense!every good reporter knows that people with important jobs use Excel for all kind of weird things, mine even uses Excel to type letters, top that Balmer!!!
According to the caption, 20 years ago, so Windows was barely at version 2.0 and DOS still ruled the PC world. MS was one of the big developers behind the Macintosh's initial push (Excel was a Mac app originally.)
Suits him well since not a freaking big office could help him in thinking up of any innovative ideas.I still watch that one youtube video of him bouncing up on the stage at a Macworld I believe. Makes me laugh because thats how he drives the audience's spirits by acting like its some sort of concert.
