whatswrongwithu.com — MS has launched a rather strange new website aimed at Asia asking "what's wrong with you?" They question how Asian gamers could refuse an Xbox 360 with its all great titles and even offer them some nice wallpapers to download :).

Asians are smart enough to know how to build a good PC, and most of them have good PC's.Xbox 360 still manages to concentrate more on PC game series than actual great consolegames. I am with Asia on refusing to touch PC games on consoles. They need more NinjaGaidens, Devil May Cries and PGR's and less FEAR, Halife 2s and Ghost Recons.

I don't know about Microsoft but after reading all the posts here I can say that without doubt Digg is filled with morons who think Asia = Japan, China, Korea and SingaporePlease die.

Extreme ethnocentrism is what's wrong with them.

Now, that's an uninformed comment as well, don't you think? Here, read this:http://www.1up.com/do/feature?cId=3155815What applies to Japan mostly applies to Asian as well since these are the games we grew up with. Yes, Japanese don't tend to appreciate what Westerners like in their games, but that doesn't mean that their taste is inferior which you seem to imply. Our country is near Japan but is heavily influenced by North American culture as well (being colonized by both in our history), so we're a good blend of both. We enjoy FPS and RTS as much as we enjoy JRPGs (which are our standard here, Oblivion isn't too much appreciated), fighting games, and yeahn Nintendogz and Tagamochi. BTW, the card games category you mentioned came from the US. MTG (which started it all) is such a big hit here as well, and if you've played Yugi-Oh, you will see MTG's heavy influence in that card game.Yes, we love our "shallow, ultra-linear, mindless RPGs" because we care a lot about a great storyline and very effective storytelling (even our TV commercials have storylines). BTW, you missed the mark in shallow and mindless, and I'm not only talking about Final Fantasy here. You also seem to contradict yourself when you say that we don't appreciate intense action, and fast, exciting gameplay and yet we love fighting games (which all Asians do, and racing games are a big hit as well if you've seen our arcades). What, you think we play those games via turn-based gameplay?

@archonsg and everyone else who thinks this website is making fun of Asian gamers."Here's a thought to Microsoft, instead of asking the consumers what's wrong with them, how about asking themselves what's wrong with what they are selling... Maybe thats' something Microsoft ought to think about instead of insulting players in Asia."Um... had you actually bothered to visit the site, it actually asks users to post what they think is wrong with the Xbox 360.I've buried the story as being inaccurate as the title is completely wrong. Microsoft isn't directing the "What's wrong with you?" question to the Asian community, but rather asking themselves the question and offering Asian gamers to point out what they think is wrong with the console.Direct link to English site:http://www.whatswrongwithu.com/en/1/index.htmWhen you visit the site, it asks you "Xbox has got it all! What more are you looking for?" and it offers a list of choices:-"Great Japanese games."-"Ability to play with friends."-"Simple online gameplay."-"Blockbuster titles."-"Awesome gaming experience."-"Looks cool [sic]"A brilliant idea, but a better question for the website should have been "What's wrong with us?" or "What's wrong with me?"
