First, his face is the result of a bad facelift.Second, the movie is watchable and entertaining if you are into wrestling, but it's no masterpiece, it's not much of a stretch for a washed-up actor to play a washed-up wrestler. 6 out of 10.Watch Slumdog Millionaire, Gran Torino, Changeling, Frost/Nixon or Che el Argentino over this mediocre movie.
The dude was better lookin' as Marv in Sin City, and he's using his real face for this film. Hey Mickey, stick to playing scum bags and psycho baddies. It's gut-wrenching to see you doing something beautiful. The last time was in Barfly, where he played Bukowski.
The film was a fantastic film and the insight that it provides to the backstage of professional wrestling is really interesting. I liked Tomei in this but damn did she play a real bitch or what?
I loved the movie! Actually the director, Darren Aronofsky is one of my favorite directors. He directed also 'Requiem for a Dream' and 'The Fountain'. Good movies! As for the M. Rourke... that was one of the best comabacks he could have... considerring his... new look. :)http://www.bestdallascarpetcleaning.com/
