Sabotage is epic - it is one of the best videos which blew my mind the very first time I saw it. He picked a great visual aesthetic for that song, storyboarded and shot it perfectly, and the band was fantastic in it. It was perfect at a time when I didnt really care about videos anymore.
Like a Prayer is like the worst song ever. Listen to it. I heard it on the radio yesterday and was listening to it and I couldn't believe how much it sucks. The lyrics just repeat over and over again, and Madonna's voice sounds like this tinny, whining, orgasmic, squeak. It is truly a testament to her and her ability to create furor, publicity, and celebrity out of extremely mediocre work. The video is amazing, and I suppose that's why it's still being played on the radio 20 years later. But I still love her. My childhood dream was that she would impregnate me.
