hmmm... maybe i read this wrong. but the way i understand it is she gets %50 of what they had when they got married, plus only %20 of what he's earned since. That isn't actually 70% of whats he's earned now is it?or maybe im just wrong. Who knows.

People act like a pre-nub is a legal binding document when it's not. Its merely an agreement between 2 people and ultimately the judge decides what's right or wrong if contested. My ex-wife and I had a prenup agreement and the judge in the case basically tossed it out the window and awarded her half of my assets regardless...

Truly stupid people never learn. How many times does it have to be said: DON'T GET MARRIED! If a multi-millionaire celebrity athlete with high-powered lawyers can get taken for $15.3 million dollars for 8 years of wedded "bliss" in 2007 what chance does the average Joe have for not getting f**ked over in marriage? Religion, love, children and "tradition" are no excuses for being so all around stupid as to get married and sign away half of your money that took you a lifetime to earn. She didn't sweat blood and tears for that money! Modern marriage is nothing but relationship insurance for women and it seems like most men are still stupid enough and/or horny enough to pay the premium.

I know both Jean and Michael. There is no way she should get even close to this amount. When I was with them she treated him horribly. He is so nice and funny. I always wondered why he was with her!

I think Michael should fire his lawyers. Since it was the agreed prenup, let her have the $$$, but I hope when/if Michael remarries, the prenup will not take advantage of him. I have seen the former Mrs S in person and frankly I think she had it planned the whole time. And there are hundreds of thousands of women out there living at or below the poverty line trying to raise kids alone because their ex is a deadbeat.
