usatoday.com— Mexico inaugurated one of the world's largest wind farm projects Thursday as the nation looks for alternative energy, in part to compensate for falling oil production.

Just because you help with one hand and kill with the other doesn't make Texas any better. BFD that Texas has wind farms. The people there are f**king backward-ass, religious war-mongering assh**es. For one step forward they take 20 steps back.
I'm a "lefty" according to the standard definition and to the people whining about the bats I say STFU. We'll end up displacing and killing the bats (and everything else) anyway with global warming, so this is a correct step. It's an unfortunate sacrifice that SOME bats MAY die from this, but it's for the good of the entire planet.
@NonLeftistDiggrI am Left, and I was also appalled by Kennedy's position on the Nantucket wind farms. The wealthy east coast has this disturbing "not in my backyard" attitude to progressive infrastructure. The standard, class-based hypocrisy of the privileged elite... and annoying as all hell.
@f**kingusernameSo sad, and yet so true. I wish we would get off our asses and take the lead on this damn green industry stuff. It has a nearly limitless potential for creating high-quality and long-lasting jobs for the American underclass. In this economy, can we afford to ignore that?Good luck finding employment, by the way.

Until the day comes when US demand for the drugs diminishes, someone will ALWAYS be there to satisfy it.
