cinemablend.com — Strap-on the Wii-mote and get ready for some first-person shoot-e’m-up action. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, the new game for the Wii, doesn’t visually break any boundaries, but there’s some pretty cool gimmicks that will change the way gamers interact with Samus. The trailer gives some very good demonstrations of the Wii’s controller scheme for MP3

That would be sweet. Nintendo really needs to put out more online games.

"First of all, stop with the 'nothing graphically stunning here' rhetoric. It is known and accepted that the Wii was not created to be a graphical powerhouse, just stop."No, it isn't "known". Gamers always have a hard time understanding that everyone who may be interested in or even own several consoles are not just like themselves. It's perfectly logical for virtually anyone who has not followed the Wii for the last several months to assume that a brand new game for a brand new system would bring graphical leaps. The Wii is the exception, not the rule. That headline is just fine and informative to broadest possible audience, exactly as it should be. It's your personal opinion and angle that colors the statement as the pushing of some agenda, not the wording."Secondly, those "gimmicks" spoken of are a revolutionary new development in game control, made only more significant by the fact that Sony tried to do the same thing with the PS3. I wouldn't relegate something so significant to the title of gimmick."In most definitions, gimmick actually refers to something new and ingenious. It's only recently that people have to come to use gimmick as something purely negative or insubstantial.Furthermore, while the Wii may be revolutionary in itself. The way this game appears to take advantage of it does not necessarily deserve the same label. If you look clearly you'll realize that the control capabilities of the Wii are as seperate from the quality Wii games as the cpu and accelerator of the 360 are from its titles.

I sincerely, SO sincerely hope that the music in the trailer is not the real music for the game.
