consumerenergyreport.com — The two-sidedness of hypocrites who profess to be all about renewable energy and weaning the U.S. off of foreign oil – which explains their rabid support for corn ethanol –, but when the conversation turns to methanol they start to bad mouth it.

"It's also very critical to make sure it's in a sealed container for storage because it sucks moisture out of the air."Would a tank buried under a gas station work?

You are simply ignorant netant. The MAGIC of electricity is there are SO MANY GOD DAMNED WAYS TO MAKE IT.for example where does out electricity come from? where you aware that only 54% of it comes from coal? the rest is nuclear, hydro, wind, solar etc..OH and get this. YOU yes YOU can make your OWN electricity. Slap some solar panels on your roof and your car is now ZERO FOOT PRINT.You can not easily or affordably make your own gasoline or your own coal or your own diesel (large scale not one guy getting grease from china town)ON TOP OF THAT even if we said screw it and made out power plants 100% coal. by using electric cars we would DRAMATICALLY reduce overall pollution because those COAL PLANTS and our ELECTRIC MOTORS are orders of magnitude more efficient than gasoline engines. Its not even a fair comparison. Gas loses every time.as for GREEN. no thats not a green movement. thats a FICTIONAL FAKE green movement.if its not CHEAPER its NOT GREEN.that is the INSTANT bulls**t detector for green. if its not CHEAPER its not GREEN.CFL is green its cheaper (you need to factor in power usage)LED is green its cheaper. (not counting the phillips CRAP at walmart at $70 a bulb)Electric is GREEN its CHEAPER.the problem is CHEAPER is not good for CORPORATE BOTTOM LINES.so we get "fake green" thats a tiny bit cleaner but "more expensive"but hey you can parade around with your prius with the knowledge that it will NEVER in your entire lifetime pay for its own costs in gas savings. Yeah!

Then end the subsidies. They'll switch to palm oil, which will not only raise food prices, it will ensure the last of the world's rain forests are cur down and planed with a monoculture of oil palms.
