Like the article in the link says, they look like they're from an old sci-fi movie. The bright orange is for visibility, like a hunter's safety vest; if something goes wrong, you want others to be able to see you. Most of the comments are funny, a few junior high mentality; the suits may look strange, but the Red Cross takes their role as rescuers very seriously. It is good to see the U.S. Army working well with our NATO allies. Danke, Deutschland!
