I agree on most of your points. I think it's ridiculous that many professed Christians bash gays when adultery runs rampant within their church. Jesus taught that ALL HAVE SINNED and that the wages of sin is death. In other words, according to the perfect standard that God has set, none of us have held that standard perfectly. Whether we've stolen, lied, hated, etc. etc. etc... So we are ALL in the same boat. Christians and non Christians alike. According to Gods perfect justice, we all deserve the punishment of death. That's what we deserve. Many people stop there and say "see? God is not loving to send people to death". But God is JUST. If there was a judge who turned a blind eye to the mafia you would call him corrupt right? In the same way, God will judge all according to their sins (which, according to the bible, we have all committed). HOWEVER, the loving part came in the form of Jesus Christ, the son of God. He died on the cross and took the punishment for the sins of ALL mankind. Everyone. Including homosexual prostitutes. In fact, Jesus said about a woman who had sinned much "Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little.". She had sinned more so she was forgiven more. Jesus paid our fine so we do not have to suffer the punishment we deserve. This is a free gift that Christ has offered. How anyone can say that this is not a loving God has not heard the gospel. All we have to do to accept the free gift is to accept it. As for people being born gay, I do disagree with that. There has been research by homosexual scientists (like Dean Hamer) that shows that homosexuality is not genetic but is partially a result of environmental factors. Here is a quote from him after he tried to prove that homosexuality was genetic:“I didn’t show that gay men are born that way, the most common mistake people make in interpreting my work. Nor did I locate a gay center in the brain.”I'm not claiming to be a scientist but I have not found any evidence that homosexuality is genetic. One study I read showed that while 2% of heterosexuals had been molested as a child, 49% of homosexuals had been. I can't speak for the accuracy of this report but I have seen many studies that show similar results.

@Deepsub - If you read my last post you will notice that the reason I am ready for the judgement is not because I am self righteous, but because the penalty for my sins has been paid by Jesus Christ. I am the first to admit that I am a sinner.
