intheory.tv — It seems as if a disabled veteran coming back and telling John Q. Civilian isn't very popular as these neo-con pieces of trash boo one of our disabled war veterans at the 8:04 mark in the first video. Perhaps he should have mentioned the fact that Ron Paul is STILL getting more donations from our military personnel than all the other candidates.

Sorry about that. If I could of I would of had every single patriot who spoke for Ron Paul up on the video. However some of the original video was overwritten at the assembly due to an accidental rewinding, some video was too shaky, and the camcorder was not on for all of the speeches. We had over 180 people speak for Paul, in fact I was one of them on stage and on the video. A friend and fellow delegate was doing the filming - I had rewound the tape some to view it, forgot I did that, and started filming later on in the day.

I do not know what joeomar's experience was. Perhaps I was too quick to reply to what I thought was a cynical "where's Vietnam" type of quote. I did not go either. I was in the second to the last draft. The number 211 (my pick) is a number I will never forget, like my SS#. I was at the anti-nixon rally when he got inaugurated with the Vietnam Vets. I guess I just have a soft spot for anybody of that era. You're right, upon more careful reading he was not very clear. However, many people who were in the military of any kind at that time were not very popular. There were bombings of the ROTC offices (then pronounced ROTSEE) It was an incredibly torn time with the death toll way above current levels. On American soil as well (Kent State)If the draft were in place when Howdy Doody decided to repeat the same mistake that we made back then, sentiment would have been quite different. Arthur Schleshinger, an advisor to JFK, wrote on indiscriminate war: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/artic ...

That's not straight talk. Haha Emceay. Yeah he loves parroting his bulls**t lines. :( Well this is no surprise as McCain has voted against anything to do with veterans rights, including a bill that would have provided tens of millions of dollars of funding for psychiatric care for veterans suffering from PTSD. Now I'm not necessarily loving the Iraqi war because honestly, the Iraqi people are suffering a whole lot more than the soldiers are. I just don't want these guys all zonked out coming home to be cops and tasering old ladies all day. Here's some info on ol' FrankenCain and Obama you might wish to see sometime.http://warofillusions.wordpress.com/2008/04/18/buy ...
