If you're dumb, surround yourself with smart people. If you're smart, surround yourself with smart people who disagree with you. If you're a Republican, surround yourself with people who don't know a damn thing about the economy, run up a huge deficit, and then go on the chat shows and talk about how fiscally responsible you are.

Someone should inform "Dr. Phil" that the state of the American economy is gauged through a multitude of indeces, reports and employment data, not phone surveys of disgruntled consumers who can't afford to renew half their internet porn subscriptions this month.
