cnn.com — Several McCain advisers have suggested to CNN that they have become increasingly frustrated with what one aide described as Palin "going rogue." ... "She is a diva. She takes no advice from anyone," said this McCain adviser. "She does not have any relationships of trust with any of us, her family or anyone else."

Here is a video from back in the day (prior to being selected as the VP candidate). She had some since, but apparently it was rinse down the drain during one of those hair washes that netted her beautician 20k since Sept.<a class="user" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ws4Tl3vHryQ">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ws4Tl3vHryQ</a>

So let me get this straight...This woman, whom I admittedly don't know a lot about (I haven't had a TV for a year and half, and the little bit of coverage of her which I have seen via the internet was as shallow as an episode of “E! Entertainment!“), is getting chastised for speaking her mind in public and not waiting for directions from *above* before doing so? And this article is being posted... why...?“Her lack of fundamental understanding of some key issues was dramatic,“ said another McCain source with direct knowledge of the process to prepare Palin after she was picked. The source said it was probably the “hardest“ to get her “up to speed than any candidate in history.“*So what* if her lack of understanding was *dramatic*. Big time politics is all about *high drama*, and yet look where that has gotten us. What matters most is that she quickly got “up to speed“, and now that she seems to have some idea about how #%@$& things really are, she's stepping outside the little sandbox that her *handlers* have given her and onto her soapbox. And yet some people still want to jump all over her for not toeing the line to an ideology (or complete lack of any ideology) that put us all in such a $%#&@ up situation in the first place?!?What's the problem here? I mean, I get it if you think all forms of hunting are wrong, and it's something *you* would never do in a million years. But think about this... even an avid hunter probably only spends a handful of days a year doing it, and meanwhile animals are out there hunting each other 24/7/365. What about the other 300-odd days in the year? If you stopped for a beer at the local bar and you met someone whom you agree with 100% on everything, and then you found out he or she was a hunter, would your opinion of that person change 100 per cent? And unless you're a vegan, it would be pretty hypocritical to criticize anyone who hunts considering the inhumane treatment of most livestock.Another red herring is abortion. Most people if pressed on the issue would agree that we should either A) give the right to decide the law back to the states, or B) pass a constitutional amendment to clarify the situation on a national level. And it's my guess that most sane people would agree that late term abortions should NEVER be legal. But like many issues, choices about abortion are dramatically affected by societal factors. When economic conditions make it difficult or impossible to raise a family, people are going to seek abortions, regardless of any laws. If you want to see fewer abortions, stop supporting “bailouts“ of Wall Street, start supporting Main Street, and get government interference out of peoples' private lives AND out of their wallets.Like I said, I don't know that much about her, and I won't be voting for either the Democrat or the Republican this year, but just based on this article I would say that there is quite a smear campaign going on against Mrs. Palin.

What am I missing here, she's the only bright spot on the ticket. Sarah Palin rocks!

My response to Palin going 'rogue' is that she is setting her self up for running for president in 2012. Am I the only person who sees this? She likely realizes a McCain-Palin ticket will lose, so she has distanced herself away from McCain, and by using the spotlight attention on her, she gains the ability to place forth her running in the next presidential election.

By early November 2009, Palin’s Going Rogue book was the number one seller on Amazon.com and other leading booksellers. Before its release, the Associated Press obtained a copy of the 432-page book, fact-checked it, and found it interesting but with several inaccuracies. The AP's review reported, "Ignoring substantial parts of her record if not the facts, she depicts herself as a frugal traveler on the taxpayer's dime, a reformer without ties to powerful interests and a politician roguishly indifferent to high ambition." In response to the AP review, Palin said on her Facebook page, "...as is expected, the AP and a number of subsequent media outlets are erroneously reporting the contents of the book. Keep your powder dry, read the book, and enjoy it!" A former senior McCain campaign official reviewed book excerpts about Palin accusing the campaign of keeping her away from the news media, and the official said, "Apparently the excerpts from the book are a continuation of a well-established and documented pattern where she (Palin) makes representations that are exaggerations or fiction."<a class="user" href="http://www.arguehow.com/index.php?t=45&amp;n=arguments-for-and-against-sarah-palin" rel="nofollow">http://www.arguehow.com/index.php?t=45&amp;n=argum ...</a>
