huffingtonpost.com — John McCain cites three absurd-sounding examples of pork-barrel spending in a recent ad: a "bridge to nowhere," a study of the DNA of bears and a Woodstock museum. He went after the "bridge to nowhere," and he was absent for key votes on its funding. he never proposed cutting the bear study and voted for the final bill containing it.

Seriously, the McCain campaign should hire some more fact checkers. How do you run an ad run ridiculing a bill that you voted for? That's just incompetent.

It's not incompetence, they're doing it on purpose, exploiting people's uninformedness. McCain doesn't mind dishonesty (and he doesn't mind being caught at it) if it gets him a few votes.

This is no surprise, he has done it before. First signs of Alzheimers is lack of memory. His keepers need to do a bit more "keeping". And we need to keep him away from the white house.
