thinkprogress.org — Speaker Nancy Pelosi is getting pounded for not attending a House briefing today with Gen. David Petraeus. (Never mind that Pelosi spoke personally to Petraeus about Iraq yesterday.) What hasn’t been mentioned is that another major figure in the Iraq debate is also skipping out of a briefing with Petraeus today: Sen. John McCain.

You expect fairness from the GOP?

Digg should implement a voting system for baning users. It's my idea, yes, but all credit goes to sonofdy1 for the inspiration.

McCain is no longer a viable candidate. He keeps talking about change in Washington and how the country has been mismanaged, yet he rolled over so this administration can rub his belly.

He never was a viable candidate. He is a classic example of somebody that will govern based on how he is polling at the time. Anyone with strong ideals (even if they differ from my own) is a better candidate than someone that will flip flop at the drop of a hat.
