dailykos.com— Pastor Rick Warren assured the crowd that McCain was in a "cone of silence", but McCain arrived at the church while Obama was on stage.

@Archer007Don't you know you're not personally allowed to vote against someone because of that either. In the future we will be able to detect such motivated votes, and switch them to the appropriate candidate instead.
I know you are trying to be funny, but you are saying it's funny that a sitting US senator and veteran of a foreign war was both badly injured in an accident that killed a hundred and thirty four sailors and injured nearly two hundred more? Or that it's funny that he was shot down by an anti-aircraft missile? Listen, that's not called "crashing a jet". That's called "being shot down". Two of his planes crashed due to engine failure, which is listed in the official reports. McCain only ever "crashed" one plane. A crash is something that is on account of pilot error. It's clear that McCain's combat record is poor. His medals all came from heroics on the USS Forrestal fire or his actions in a POW camp, and I think I'm right in saying that he never got a medal in combat?Anyway, it's f**king disgusting that you'd be such an assh**e to someone like that. I bet you wouldn't walk out onto the street and say that to a Vietnam vet yourself. You're just hiding behind your anonymity. By the way, he was at the "bottom of his class" for attitude issues, not for lack of skills or smarts.
Wow.... WOW!!!OK people. Starbucks called and wants their straws back! How can McCain be old and senile and yet do everything you say he did here? He is senile, losing his mind, but somehow has it together enough to cheat in this forum?? That kinda contradicts itself. Some of you think he is dumb, and some of you think he is some evil genius! You might want to get on the same page. What say you to the succinct way he answered the questions that Obama was asked once McCain was at the church and then in isolation? How did he have a succinct answer to the question that Obama was never even asked?I find it funny that people here say McCain has never been succinct, but if you actually listened to his town hall meetings he has, he is actually quite succinct and quick in answering. That is what comes with experience.
What is this, like the 17th article to hit Digg's front page about this? Seriously, do you all think McCain did that much better than Obama that the only thing you can do is accuse him of cheating? This is not some huge conspiracy. Obama himself said he was friends with Pastor Warren, and he'd been asked to speak at Saddleback on a previous occasion, which, as I'm sure you all know, is a pretty ballsy movefor an evangelical pastor to do.In addition, Warren didn't say McCain was in the building, he just said he had safely been placed in a "Cone of silence". To which the audience all errupted into laughter. BECAUSE IT WAS A JOKE. "Cone of Silence" is just a metaphor for saying, "McCain can't hear the questions." It's not a literal device, it's a gag from a cheesey old TV show. Look it up: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cone_of_silence there's no such thing as a real cone of silence, so obviously Warren didn't literally mean McCain was in some sort of sound proof box.You might be able to make the point that they should have done more to isolate McCain, but the fact of the matter is that the only evidence you have that he heard the questions, was that he performed very well in the interview. Which, I mean, come on, that's pretty weak.
Mccain will lose big time. Cheated on his wife, cheated on our troops, cheated on the Constitution, cheated on the nation, and now cheated in this forum. Cheaters always lose in the end.
Maybe, Pastor Rick, is another one of the conservative set that plays at being conservative, but in fact secretly or openly teach and believe that getting the political agendas stirred up so bad in the Middle East, that their actions, will actually bring on the end of the world and the return of Christ, via Bible Style as told in Revelations????

So.....wait.....Everyone that was in POW camps in the Vietnam war were there because of their own fault??......That's a pretty cold-hearted argument.

Treehugger87 is correct on those but he failed to mention McCain's horrendous flip-flop record. Are you neo-cons REALLY so blind? http://editor-at-large.blogspot.com/2008/07/mccain ...
