youtube.com— John McCain does not have the ability to fix this economic crisis. Let's make sure everyone knows McCain can't get us out of the mess he got us into in the first place.

I actually applaud the republicans for not voting for big spending for once.Republicans are supposed to be fiscally conservative and for the free market. It sickens me that the NeoCons have so-called Republicans scurrying to spend $700 billion and they eat it up for some reason or another.
Is that really what you think, or is it, in fact, what you've been force-fed by your party? My guess is that you have little-to-no understanding of our current situation but are happy to relay the drivel being fed to you. Ron Paul is incredibly well-versed about our current economic crisis and the historical trends that got us here, and he's really been quite genuine in finding a real solution to the problem. You're right about McCain, he's clueless about current events. In fact, he's been drinking the kool-aid without any fact-finding much like you have.If you're interested in sharing an actual fact-based opinion on this issue, I'd recommend educating yourself. Start by reading this article written yesterday in MIT's newspaper, The Tech: <a class="user" href="http://tech.mit.edu/V128/N43/matthewd.html">http://tech.mit.edu/V128/N43/matthewd.html</a>
Yeah, it's a well known fact that all mortgage lenders are Democrats. And its so in their nature to go after the little guy, right? The reason people are losing their homes is because they are losing their jobs (thanks, GW) and becasue of predatory lenders who trick them into signing a mortgage with interest rates that inflate and compound so that a house they could actually afford at a fair interest rate becomes an out of reach mortgage payment. There has always been and will always be the people who will buy homes beyond their means, or spend beyond their means (ie, professional athletes for one) but that does a housing crisis make!
Again, even PALIN admitted, the reason people are losing their homes is because they are losing their jobs (thanks, GW) and becasue of predatory lenders who trick them into signing a mortgage with interest rates that inflate and compound so that a house they could actually afford at a fair interest rate becomes an out of reach mortgage payment. From what I have read and heard, I think the whole Muslim issue---e.g., see remark by VBDon--- is being played against Obama more than the race issue (except for white supremacists who hate him for both reasons). I am a fan of neither McCain nor Obama---and hey, folks, there ARE other candidates on the ballot---but the hysteria over Obama being an Islamic terrorist is just one more example of how dumbed-down the citizens of this country are. The real terrorists are a bunch of phony "Christian" rich white geeks in Washington, the same ones who pulled off the 9-11 attacks!
Welll that's how bad the "W" admin made it. These days we'll settle for anything other than the same old crap. And John McCain offering 4 more years of the same just scares the living hell out of us. Can you blame us?

Somehow it always seems to be racist that throw out the race card or the idea of it - maybe that's why they always win. Pick up some Tim Wise and educate yourself. Here's some to start: <a class="user" href="http://www.counterpunch.org/wise04242006.html">http://www.counterpunch.org/wise04242006.html</a> , <a class="user" href="http://www.lipmagazine.org/~timwise/Obama.html">http://www.lipmagazine.org/~timwise/Obama.html</a> , <a class="user" href="http://www.redroom.com/video/tim-wise-creation-whiteness-clip">http://www.redroom.com/video/tim-wise-creation-whi ...</a> Just check him out.
