huffingtonpost.com — here is Obama's actual statement, which suggests exactly the opposite of what McCain alleges: mainly, that he believes the country must repair the economy's long-term structure. McCain is running a scumbag campaign.

'It took a couple of tries, but CNN "American Morning" co-anchor John Roberts got Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama to admit what people probably already knew - Obama wants to raise taxes.'

You tool!He has sad again and again - the ONLY taxes he wants to raise are reverting back the tax breaks that Bush gave to all the rich people, everyone else (those that actually work for a living) will get a tax break.Either you are a) stupid, or b) a rich greedy bastard who wants desperately to keep benefiting from the absurd belief that if we give rich people all the money they will pay us kindly by creating jobs for us and stimulating the economy through all the extra money they will spend. When Republicans get down in the polls they always resort to their old faithful standard, if they can't win it on merit they will lie and cheat and do anything they can to swindle a win. Democrats, for all their failings at least have one thing the Republicans will never have - honor.

For those of you who say that both sides are guilty of this kind of chicanery, can you cite any Obama ads that misrepresent or out and out lie like the McCain ads do? For my part, I haven't seen any factual inaccuracies in the Obama material.

Just have to add my own sense of outrage. So disgusting. Such lies. So cynical towards the American people. Does McCain really believe he can get away with deceptions of this kind in the age of Digg, YouTube and blogging? All the more outrageous as he promised to lead an honest campaign. He's a hypocrite.
