It's EA for crying out loud! The only way they ever release a good game is through some kind of divine intervention! I'm sure there was a producer who pitched retooling The Sims as an FPS at least 5 or 6 times.

Wow, I'm to excited about this. I really enjoyed SC4 and I was looking for the next logical progression of the series. But with them effectively "dumbing down" the game, I'm not to sure if I'll be interested. But like all things... time will tell
