think of the effort that was expended upon this...now think if what might happen if that effort were applied to curing cancer...Yeah, I'd imagine there'd be a s**tload more tumors, but it's something to think about either way.
I don't know anything about bittorrent, but after checking out a few ASCII movie clips linked from that site, man, somebody's gotta find this thing and find a way to re-distribute it. I'd even pay money for it. It's just, whoa...
this is so damn unimpressive, it's lame. if you want to see this, just use mplayer or xine(through aaxine) to play the damn movie. then you could even change the size of the text and make it look slightly better. but this is no more than a novelty. it doesn't even have the advantage that you can play it through a text-only terminal which was the one reason to actually use this.
software2 and blindarrow got in touch with me. I brought the tracker back online. There were over 40 of you still trying to grab it after 3 days. I dug up an old page with a better description of what The.Matrix-ASCII is as well as all of the ASCII frames from the movie.Thank you all!!Jack
