Yea, title NEVER never never says it all. If it did, their would not be a place for a summary. Next person that writes "title says it all" needs to get reported as "inaccurate" or something.
"With binoculars, you can see Uranus too.(It's possible naked eye, but it's much too faint unless you have superb skies)"Did anyone else giggle when they read this? I don't think I'll ever be too old for Astronomy.
I think in general stars are difficult to capture on film, unless you use a longer exposure. Planets and moons are probably somewhat easier because they reflect a more steady light. But I'm not an astrophotographer, so don't take my word for it.If you were actually there, and it was fully night, I imagine you could see the stars of the Milky Way just fine. Must be a magnificent sight.
If you read anything at all in this post or on any page this links to, read the Sagan quote about 1/3 the way down the page on the Wiki article that lonewolf (^^ up there some where) posted... It's deep, humbling and one of the most profound things I've read this year.Utter and completely proof that Sagan was not just a genius but so far ahead of his time he makes the rest of humanity look like perpetual idiots.
