I first learned about Mark when he took that space travel as a vacation. My first though was he was simply bluffing around with his money going into space like that. Then he started the Ubuntu project and I have to say : Ubuntu is AWESOME. I don't mind playing around with shell and config file but hey, I got my rainy days too. When that happen, I want it to just work. The fact that Ubuntu is easy enough that my gf can use it means Ubuntu is ready for desktop prime time.

@cinnixI wouldn't do it that way, you'd better use apt, otherwise you'll never be able to get rid of it :-)

./configuremakemake checkinstallThere you go, now it's all nicely integrated with your Package Management.

Use any method you like as long as the dependencies are included such as the frosting and icecream.
