Because for close to 100 years, a "war" against our OWN citizens, based almost fully on racial bias, has been IGNORED and furthered by ignorance... Americans are being thrown in jail and having their lives destroyed. Drugs are not in and of themselves the most dangerous part of this situation, it's all about the government destroying peoples' lives. The drug war represents hypocrisy, as we came to this country in the first place to avoid exactly what the drug war is DOING. I know that it is hip and pop on the net to be a big badass and show no concern for your fellow human, but here we make our stand, even people like me who are not extremely avid smokers are pissed about our friends having their homes broken into, invasion of privacy by the government and it's doigs, all in the name of choosing not to be a drinker. This s**t stops right here, and isn't going to until people stand up and stop being apathetic as to rights of the citizens of this nation being abused. You are either part of the solution or part of the problem in this area, and I sure as hell and not going to be part of the problem, so let the healing begin. END THE DRUG WAR NOW.
