He makes an excellent point though. Their generation grew up with a s**t load of false propaganda, my mom was one of those, who still believes it will kill brain cells, and permanently fry you're brain. And to make matters worse her memory is horrendous so no matter how many times i show her scientific proof that all these claims are lies, 6 months down the road she forgets and if i bring up mj reform she babbles about the same propaganda that she has been brain washed with. Its a loosing battle with that generation. Good thing i live in British Columbia, and we can smoke it if we want already and not in Cali were she can be another No vote.

Yes, Obama by executive order, will not prosecute in states where it is legal for medical or other use.

We're holding you to that.

God made pot....man made beer. Who do YOU trust? To be honest, I have never understood why we, the people, have allowed this prohibition for so long. Have these law making asses ever listed the pros and cons of alcohol vs. marijuana? Probably not, because they would feel like fools. I encourage all of you to visit two very important web sites. NORML, which most of you already know about and L.E.A.P., Law Enforcement Against Prohibition. I am an activist for both. It's time for us to stand our ground and remind the government of the "for the people" part, don't you think? Do they really think we are all so stupid as to NOT know that the fight has been hard because the LIQUOR industry spends millions in lobbying? We might not have millions to bribe our elected officials with, but we sure as hell have the NUMBERS to make them listen, stop pushing us around, stop ignoring the truth in exchange for the mighty dollar, and maybe it's time THEY got pushed around a little bit.

Sorry dude. I just get real agitated when I hear people playing devil's advocate with "ya but..." and then something about the legal aspects. We're not talking about legalizing murder, rape, extortion or whatever. We're talking about something that never should have been illegal in the first place, and how we, the people, ever let that happen. Sorry about the tangent.

Thanks for chopping my sentences in half to make my point look stupid. Does it feel nice to try and be right on the internet? Yeah, treating something as forbidden tends to make people want to try it more. Maybe you never went to many parties, but I've been around a lot of people where they're just trying to get wasted because they know their not supposed to. Don't be a dick...
