It's no biggie in my mind; I'm buying the Wii for the new Wii remote. They'll get the online services ready eventually, but I'd imagine the majority of the people buying it aren't getting it for the online play. Once it does get up and running, it'll be like a second Christmas preset mid February or whenever they get it running.
12 VC at launch, 30 by the end of 2006. They are releasing VC titles weekly.Plus the 32 Wii titles out by the end of the year means 62 titles total before 1/1/07.
They will release Opera details later... lemme guess, they will release the Opera browser in august. It will have a price tag, its free before June right?

Wii Sports was never an online game. That was known back when they announced it as more than just a technical demo.
