Doesn't yelling about having a gun defeat the need to hide it? When someone is robbing a bank and hides a gun it's to add a degree of cover, accompanied by a whisper to the cashier, so that they do not attract attention to themselves and can make a clean getaway. I think it's safe to say that in most cases where you have someone mouthing off about having a hidden gun, they are full of s**t. He is lucky a bigger wiser man did not walk up to him and knock his lights out.
I'd rather have it the American way. Sure, we might kill our own people, but at least the Government will be afraid of us as long as we're armed. Also, it's a HUGE deterrent to invasion. Conquering America would be damn near impossible, almost everyone owns some sort of firearm.
