youtube.com — A man was detained by TSA in St. Louis for carrying cash. The man was traveling home following a Campaign For Liberty (Ron Paul) event. I thought the MIAC document was retracted? Apparently these goons didn't get the word.

Totally legit and legal questions by the cops.

I'm naturally skeptical about one sided stories of encounters with authority like this. It was $15,000 in cash, supposedly, and the guy says he had marijuana possession charges in the past. There is DEFINITELY more to this story than we are being told. I want to know more before I get my knickers in a bunch. But that's a nice hook for the title. You've been reading the digg manual.

But he said in the phone interview on air that he had Ron Paul bumper-stickers.ftv: "...in addition to the cash, I was carrying Campaign for Liberty literature, and I was carrying Ron Paul bumper stickers. So ..."So yes, it was revealed that there a Ron Paul connection.

That's how they came across. Seems like they had no clue about the man's rights when they were conversing with eachother. He did the right thing by politely asking "Am I free to go or am I being detained/under arrest?" several times, which most police officers understand and will answer. The TSA people (do we call them that?) just didn't understand what he was asking so they ignored it. I believe one dismissed it as "semantics" or something to that effect.
