Just to note there's also radio stations you can get.Satellites are used for a ton of transmissions these days. Most major corporations use them as easier ways for showing mass market video. In some reguards this is kinds like a video version of shortwave but it's encrypted (although ssb and drm are needed on radios to receive those stations)It seems to be mostly educational and foreign stations but most tv is reruns etc.Network tv for the most part is local news played over and over for about 1/4 of the day then it's filled with gameshows and some major shows. The major ones will end up on dvdCable channels most major ones you can get on dvd. right now the fcc is considering having cable do channels a la cart. Most people only view about 17 channels!
So ... You hackers think you are so smart. You say you can hack TV?? Here's a challenge. How do you hack a Sirius satellite radio receiver for your car? Find that and I'll be impressed.
Check out this movie. It's called Spin. You got to be kidding. The whole thing is a spin itself. Just a Republican bashing pant load. I guess the dude never got any spinning by liberals to put on there did he? How convenient.
It's great to see WV on digg.Yea, and we don't have to drive to Virginia and find a library to participate. Oh, thats right everyone. West Virginia is actually a separate state from Virginia.
Yeah. I'd say, "imagine you're his neighbor" with all that crap on his porch... but they probably have a bent frame from a 70's mustang on the lawn and two rotting couches on their porch.Oh yeah... here we go..."Neighbors, he said, never complained about his large display of dishes in front of his house. In fact, some of his dishes were hand-me-downs from his neighbors."
